The 4th “Overseas Experience Sharing Session of International Exchange Students” was held sucessfully

In the afternoon of 29th Nov., the 4th "Overseas Experience Sharing Session of International Exchange Students” was held in the ball room W104-G01 by the Division of Research Affairs. The event was aiming at further pushing forward the internationalization of Panjin campus, promoting the exchange programs and creating the international atmosphere.

 

Eight students who had joined different programs were invited to share their overseas learning experience from different universities,  regions and countries, including The United States of America, The Great Britain, Germany, Japan, Korea, Hongkong China, and Taiwan China. The keywords they mentioned the most were “fastest way to improve English, feel different culture, get to know different education system, foster self-study habit, widen the vision, feel the sense of belonging, etc.” Ms. Ding Yiqun, who was the international office’s volunteer, also shared her exchange experience in the last four years as a “bonus egg”.

 

In the Q&A session, Prof. Zhang, the vice director of the Division of Research Affairs answered questions raised by the attendee students. At the end of the event, there were many gifts handed out to the attendees in the Lucky Draw session.

   


Since the establishment, Panjin campus had attached importance to the students’ internationalization and vigorously carried out the international cooperative and exchanging programs with the first-class universities in the world in order to broaden students’ international vision, enrich students’ international experience and cultivate the international elites. Up to now, 616 students have participated the international programs and experienced the overseas education.
