On Nov. 22nd , Dr.Uwe Schneider, lecturer in Organic Chemistry and Asymmetric Catalysis from the University of Edinburgh ( UoE, Scotland) visited Panjin Campus.
In the early afternoon, Dr.Uwe gave an academic report in the multi-function room W104, administration building G01. Prof. Bao Ming, the Vice Dean of School of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering hosted this report.
In the same day 3.30pm, an information session about UoE and cooperative programs was held at A01-S304. Dr.Uwe comprehensively introduced the university basic information and development, academic competence, excellent alumni and “2+2” “2+3” “4 + 1” programs, etc. He also presented the policy of studying abroad and talents introduction which showed students the education quality and an explicit understanding of UoE. Lastly, he warmly welcomed students of Panjin Campus to School of Chemistry for further study. Finally, Dr.Uwe answered the questions raised by students.
During the visit, accompanied by the staff from the International Office, Dr.Uwe visited the Changchun College, Stadiums and Library.
