Recently, the 2016 National Natural Science Foundation of China approved the first batch of funding. Panjin Campus submitted 80 projects among which 25 projects have been successfully approved, and the approval rate reached to 31.25%. Among the approved projects, there are 6 Surface Projects and 19 National Outstanding Youth Science Fund Projects . It is worth mentioning that 22 approved projects including 3 Surface Projects and 19 National Outstanding Youth Science Fund Projects were applied by the new teachers recruited after the establishment of Panjin Campus, which fully reflected the high-level talents introduction and the rapid progress of new teachers. Since 2014-2016, the approved projects have increased year by year, that in 2014 there were 15, in 2015 there were 21 and this year there were 25.
