In order to deepen the mutual understanding between Chinese and Japanese graduate students and promote theirscientific and cultural exchanges, on Sep.11th, accompanied by the teacher from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of DUT, five graduate representatives from Yokohama National University led by Prof.Naoyoshi Tamura from its Graduate School of Environment and Information Sciences visited Panjin Campus to carry out academic exchanges.

 

The staff of the International Office and students volunteers extended a warm welcome to the delegation and led the delegation to visit Guodong College. By the introduction of student volunteers, the delegation knew about the characteristics of the college system, the structure of the dormitory, and felt its cultural atmosphere of “Honesty, Mastery and Pragmatic”.

 

Subsequently, the delegation attended the Academic Exchange Meeting held by the School of Business at C05-315 seminar room. The meeting was hosted by Teacher Wu Guorui. At the meeting, graduate students from the two sides reported on their research contents and research achievements alternately. Moreover, they carried out friendly discussion and communication. By knowing of the diverse scientific research of the young generation of China and Japan, students broadened their scientific view, and they expressed their sincere appreciation for this meeting.

 

During the visit, delegation from the Yokohama University also visited the Yingkou Old Street and Panjin Red Beach for understanding the historical culture and current development of the two cities.
