On April 1st, Professor Ewen Macpherson from the University of Edinburgh visited Panjin Campus. The vice director of the Division of Research Affairs—Zhang Xiujuan and the relevant teachers gave a warm reception. In the afternoon, Professor Ewen interviewed the students who had applied for the “2+2” program.
After the interview, Professor Ewen gave a lecture to the students of Panjin Campus. He introduced the University of Edinburgh including location, development, academy etc. Then He explained the “2+2”, “2+3” and “4+1” cooperative programs between DUT Panjin Campus and UoE, including the applicable majors, scholarship and application process, etc. As for students’ questions and confusions, Professor Ewen gave out the accurate answers and effective suggestions.
