On Feb 19th to Feb 20th, the delegation of Panjin campus visited the University of Ottawa and the Mcgill University. The delegation included Prof. Lu Zhongchang-- the vice president of Dalian University of Technology and the director of Panjin campus, Prof. He Gaohong-- the vice director of Panjin campus, Associate Prof. Zhang Zhizhong of the School of Humanities and Law and Teacher Lv Bo of the Division of Human Resources.
During the visit, Panjin campus carried on an extensive and in-depth discussion with the delegation of the University of Ottawa— Dean Claude Lague, Vice-dean Z.J ason Zhang and professor Caroline Renaud from the international office in term of the methods of the students and teachers exchange programs, and established a preliminary cooperation intention in multiple ways. In addition, Panjin campus held a job fair at Mcgill University which attracted more than 30 Chinese students in Montreal, and the applicants showed their intention to work in Panjin campus.
On February 19th , Panjin campus delegation was accorded a grand reception from the Counsellor Yang Xinyu of the Chinese embassy in Canada (education) .
Moreover, Panjin campus delegation visited the teaching buildings and laboratories of the University of Ottawa and the Mcgill University, and knew about the teaching models of the canadian universities. This visit has promoted the exchanges between the campus and Canadian universities, further broadened the channels of international exchanges and cooperation, and laid a foundation for hiring the Canadian talents.
