For further pushing forward the internationalization development of Panjin campus, making the teachers and students know about the international exchange programs and feel the education and culture of different countries, the Division of Research Affairs held the II Sharing Session of Student International Exchange on Dec. 24 at the auditorium of G01. Prof. Lu Zhongchang—the vice president of Dalian University of Technology and the director of Panjin campus, Prof. He Gaohong—the vice director of Panjin campus and the teachers from each division and school attended the session. The session was hosted by the student volunteers for foreign affairs—Ding Yiqun and Zhou Fudong.

 

7 students shared their stories and growth overseas including America, Britain, Germany, Netherlands, Japanese, Korea, Hongkong, and Taiwan, and communicated with the audiences. President Lu answered students’ questions, introduced the international programs to students and gave the practical advices. He encouraged students to see the world, to feel the different education mode and different cultures of different countries. Prof. He said that, students should not only achieve the international vision when studying overseas, the important is to import the excellent international culture and export the Chinese culture to the world. She hoped students to realize the shortcoming and the developing direction, and cultivate the learning ability and comprehensive quality.

Since its opening, Panjin campus attaches great importance to the students’ internationalization and vigorously carries out the international cooperative and exchanging programs with the first class universities in the world in order to broaden students’ international vision, rich students’ international experience, and cultivate the international elites. Up to now, 178 students have participated the international programs and experienced the overseas education.
