On December 4th, Prof. Gu Yesong, the chairman of the department of Chemical & Materials Engineering of Tunghai University, was invited to visit the Panjin campus. Prof. Lu Zhongchang-the vice president and the director of Panjin campus, Prof. He Gaohong-the vice director of Panjin campus, and the administrative staff of the international office of the division of research affairs held a meeting with the guest in the executive building G01-W104.

On behalf of the campus, President Lu warmly welcomed Prof.Gu and introduced him Panjin campus in detail. Later then the two sides discussed about the system of college education. Moreover, the two sides focused the discussion on the collaborations and exchanges including the vacation visiting, exchange project, joint educational program, training project etc. They reached a consensus on the multi-aspect, multi-level, and multi-type cooperation.

Before the meeting, Professor Gu Yesong had given a lecture about the college education to the teachers and students in G01-E402. The lecture was hosted by the vice director of Panjin campus and the deputy secretary of party committee Prof.Guo Jinming. Professor Gu had introduced Tunghai University and its famous and successful BoYa college education. At the end, he answered questions raised by the teachers and students.

During his visit, Professor Gu Yesong visited the library, the teaching buildings, the gymnasium and so on. He appreciated the rapid development of Panjin campus and hoped the college education would achieve success. He also expressed that he would endeavor to strengthen the cooperation and exchange between the two universities, and also he believed that the friendly partnership with each other will grow with every passing day.
