Recently, the Liaoning Province Physics Experiment Contest was hold in the Northeastern University. This contest was held by the provincial Education Department and Finance Department. The teams of our campus have got good grades in this contest, including two first prizes, one second prize, one third prize and two honorable mentions. Besides, Zhan Weishen and Wang Shuo from the Department of Basic Science have been awarded as the Excellent Guide Teachers. Du Yiming from the Division of Affairs has been honored as the Excellent Organizer. It was the first time for our students to take part in this contest, however, they did win honors for Panjin Campus.

        This contest was aimed to motivate undergraduates’ potential and interest in physics experiment, cultivate their spirit of exploration and innovation, and  push them to do physics experiment by themselves. 148 teams from 30 universities had been selected to attend this contest. Ultimately 15 first prizes, 29 second prizes and 47 third prizes have been awarded to the winners based on the works show, results defence and judges assessment.
