In the morning of 13th March, two teacher representatives from School of Food Science, University of College Cork (UCC) visited School of Food and Environment, Panjin Campus.
The delegates, Prof. Paul McSweeney and Dr. Huang Haibo visited professional laboratories in D05, accompanied by teachers from school of Food and Environment since 9:00 am.
In 10:00am, Prof. Bao Ming, Vice-dean of School of Food and Environment and Prof. Zhan Jingjing met with Prof. McSweeney and Dr. Huang in 301, conference room in D06. Firstly, Prof. Bao expressed his sincere welcome to Paul’s visit and wished the teachers and students of UCC to teach and study at School of Food and Environment. He mentioned that the friendly cooperation between the two schools has developed rapidly and he has been willing to support more cooperation in more areas. Secondly, Prof. McSweeney expressed his appreciation for pushing the internationalization in two schools. Then he introduced UCC development and presented the policy of studying, academic strength, outstanding alumni, a comprehensive understanding of UCC and “2+2” and “3+1” exchange programs.
The meeting between two schools was successful and fruitful, the solid foundation of internationalization has been established and hopefully it would serve the students better.
