A delegation from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Nagoya University, Yamagata University and Daicel Co., Ltd., which was invited by Prof. Ming Bao, vice dean of the School of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering, came for a visit to Panjin campus on June 8th.

Vice president of Dalian University of Technology and director of Panjin Campus Committee Prof. Zhongchang Lu, as well as vice director of Panjin Campus and dean of the School of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Prof. Gaohong He welcomed the delegation's visit, and introduced the basic profile, personnel training results, and international construction of Panjin campus. Especially, the cooperation links DUT-Panjin have made with Japanese universities. They hoped, through this academic visit, it would promote the relationship between our school and Japanese universities & enterprises in scientific research, student training exchanges and cooperation.

At 2:30 pm, a seminar was held in the A01-S405 lecture hall. The relevant teachers and students of the School of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering, School of Life and Medicine, and the Department of Basic Education attended the conference.

The report covered the latest research in applied chemistry, organic chemistry, computational chemistry, pharmacy and other fields. Participants and students interested in those research content launched heated discussions with the reporters. Finally, this academic report ended with warm applause.

In the evening, the delegation was invited to give an information session about the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Nagoya University, Yamagata University and Daicel Co. They warmly welcomed our students to study and work in Japan.
