The 2017 Sports Meeting of DUT was successfully hold at the central stadium of Dalian University of Technology at 8:00 on May 19. The leadership of DUT, teachers and students from each college and school attended the Sports Meeting.

Sports Meeting successfully come to the end after the exciting competition around four o’clock in the afternoon. The leadership of DUT----Guo Dongming, Lu Zhongchang, Jia Zhenyuan, Zhu Hong awarded the honors for the winning schools and individuals. Panjin campus achieved two team championships for women and men respectively and the third winner for teachers team. In addition, 6 athletes/teams have broken the record in this Sport Meeting, among which students of Panjin campus has made a record-breaking in the competition of 400 meters race and 4*100 meters race.

The teachers and students of Panjin campus left lots of wonderful moments in this Sports Meeting. These honors cannot be separated from the hard work of the coaches and athletes, as well as the strong support of leaders and the dedication of student volunteer. Their contributions enrich the sport spirit. Hope our teachers and students will join the team for physical exercise, keeping strong physique, tempering the mind, cultivating endurance, and improving the physical health; also hope that our teachers and students will keep carrying forward the spirit of the unity, struggle, and never giving up, uphold the “higher, faster, stronger” sports spirit to promote the healthy development of Panjin Campus for the realization of the goal of building the world first-class university and first-class discipline.
