On the 13th April, Dr.Uwe Schneider, a lecturer from Organic Chemistry and Asymmetric Catalysis, University of Edinburgh ( UoE, Scotland) revisited Panjin Campus.
Dr. Uwe gave two information sessions about UoE and cooperative programs at the main teaching building A01-S302. Dr.Uwe comprehensively introduced the university basic information and development, academic competence, excellent alumni and “2+2” program,which included the enroll requirements, curriculum setting, graduation requirements, career development, expenditure, students’ dormitory and English language courses etc,. Finally, Dr.Uwe answered the questions raised by students.
After the information sessions, Dr. Uwe interviewed two students who applied the ‘2+2’ program. He was so satisfied with this two applicants’ performance that he gave them unconditional offer right after.
In the same day evening, Dr. Uwe gave an introductory lesson in A01-N102 named ‘Stucture and Reactivity of Organic Molecules’, the event was hosted by Prof. Bao Ming, the vice dean of Petroleum and Engineering.
