In order to deepen the cooperation between Loughborough University and Panjin Campus, Dr. Sun Tao, senior lecturer of the Department of Chemical Engineering of Loughborough University, visited Panjin Campus on Sep. 7. Lu Zhongchang, Vice President and Director of Panjin Campus Management Committee, Li Chengen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of DUT and Secretary of the Party Committee of Panjin Campus, He Gaohong, Vice Director of Panjin Campus Management Committee and Dean of School of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering, and the relevant staff received the guest. The leadership of Panjin Campus extended warm welcome to Dr. Sun’s visit and expressed gratitude for pushing the mutual cooperation.

 

The two sides extend the “4+1” cooperative educational program based on the original “3+1+1” program majored in chemical engineering, and add the “3+1+1” and “4+1”program majored in environment and ecology engineering. The visit achieved tangible results and the friendly cooperation made new progress.

 

In the afternoon, Dr. Sun gave a presentation about the cooperative educational program between Loughborough University and Panjin Campus to the students and communicated with students at A01-S301.

  At present, one student of Panjin Campus has been enrolled by the “3+1+1” cooperative educational program between Loughborough University and Panjin Campus. He will pursue further study at Loughborough University at the end of September.
