In the cool season autumn, the 2016 freshman will start their new life in DUT-Panjin Campus. The first days of September were spent welcoming the new undergraduates.
During the summer holidays, the university has greatly invested in installing new equipment and decorating the campus. The welcoming and comforting atmosphere adorns the campus, from the dormitory to the cafeteria.
There were many information enquiries made by the new students about the campus and facilities. School volunteers, mainly composed of Sophomores and Juniors, played an important role last week. Some of the faculty staff participated by working as receptionists and guides as well.
On September 4th, Professor Zhongchang Lu , the Vice President and the Director of Panjin Campus Management Committee, and Professor Jinming Guo, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Panjin Campus, visited several faculties and students’ dormitories. They patiently answered questions from the new students and kindly gave wise advice to them, especially to the students who may need more advice for their scholarship support.
The past three years have witnessed remarkable progress in improving the facilities to make ourselves into a world-class campus with unique academic excellence. 2016 is a year for us to make additional progress on top of our past achievements.
