On May 26, invited by the School of Life and Medical Sciences, the professor of Department of Pathology of Northwestern University, Fang Deyu gave an lecture about ER stress in immune regulation and inflammation in Panjin campus. The dean of School of Life and Medical Sciences, Prof. Zhang Jianing hosted the lecture.

Professor Fang Deyu focuses on the endoplasmic reticulum stress and the relationship between inflammation and autoimmune diseases. His team has made major progress in this field. The teachers and students attended the lecture expressed great interest and attention and raised the questions. Professor Fang answered the questions one by one patiently and communicated with the teachers and students very well.
